December 27th, 2014
Another end to another year. Tomorrow I’ll be 28 on the 28th! I used to imagine where I’d be when I finally got to havemy champagne birthday. I thought of some grand party I’d throw with the millions I’d earn from my many brilliant film and television roles… ah the ignorance of youth. Instead I’ll be spending my time with my wonderful friends and loving boyfriend. I may not have caviar, but I’ve got many blessings that are much more valuable.
Just because I’m not where I thought I’d be in my career, doesn’t mean I’ll stop aiming for the stars. In fact, all that I’ve learned and experienced since graduating has taught me one thing, you can’t fail if you don’t give up. And I will sure as hell give it my all before I ever throw in the towel.
That’s where you come in! Today, I sit writing to an audience of zero. To be perfectly honest, I don’t mind if that number never changes. As cliché as it sounds, I’m writing for me! To help set some goals and keep myself accountable to them! Today I take stock of a great year and I prepare to take on the next. 2015 is going to be a big year, I’ve got one goal: Book a professional acting job.
Here we go!
